Dentures We Offer
At Sherwood Family Dental Clinic, we know that every client is different. Therefore, we offer various denture services, including:
Partial dentures: Upper or lower partial dentures are suited for those who are replacing some missing teeth.
Immediate dentures: These dentures minimize your discomfort right after you’ve undergone teeth extraction. You can use them to get used to wearing dentures or when your permanent dentures are still being manufactured.
Complete dentures: A full set of dentures are recommended for people with significant tooth loss. They are constructed using an acrylic base joined to a set of artificial teeth. You can easily remove them for cleaning purposes.
Dentures over implants: Implant-supported dentures are attached to titanium implant studs surgically placed inside your jawbone. These dentures offer immense comfort and improved functionality.
Denture relines: Denture reline involves reshaping the underside of your dentures to make them fit more comfortably on your gums. Most denture-wearers will require this procedure periodically to adjust them.

Inspiring Stories Our Dentists Have to Tell
Like all other professionals, our dentists at Sherwood Family Dental Clinic also have some inspiring stories to tell, some of which encouraged them to work in the right direction. Here is one of them.

“Years ago, I had a client who literally cried when we gave her her denture because she was afraid that having false teeth would look fake, and that it wouldn’t look like her. Originally, she had a gap in her front teeth that needed fixing. We made her denture in a way that it matched with the gap in her teeth. She was so happy because she said ‘it made me look like me, still’. It was a very exciting instance because sometimes you assume that you want the denture to look perfect, but we are not perfect and for someone to associate themselves with imperfection is wonderful. That’s who we are. So that was a cool experience for me to make me realize that our teeth are a part of us, and we want to try to give you back what you had.”
